Students are encourages to register with their college email address, but recognize that at some schools that is not available until after they have taken the placement test. In that case, students can register with an alternate email address.
If the student does not have an alternate address, the proctor should encourage them to use their campus email address to register, even if they do not have access to this account yet. When completing the steps in the RISE Placement Test Administration Instructions for Proctors, the proctor can Activate the student's account after completing step 5 (on the student's General Info tab: see this demonstrated as part of the training webinar).
